CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)

Continuing Education is an important facet for Professional and Associate Members of IIDA. Understanding the value of Continuing Education and research has been the mainstay of IIDA since its inception. Educated practitioners make informed, safe and creative decisions which affect us all. Educational programs serve as a creative outlet to promote awareness regarding pertinent issues within the practice of interior design.

IIDA Professional and Associate Members must complete 1.0 CEU equal to 10 hours Continued Education within a 2-year time period. The current compliance period is January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2007. If your Professional or Associate membership began after January 1, 2006, your compliance period would begin January 1, 2008.

There are many resources through IIDA and industry partners to obtain CEU credit. CEUs are also available through:

  • City Center Events
  • Georgia Chapter Annual CEUs
  • Courses approved through ASID, IDC, IDEC, IIDA
  • Independent Study Through IIDA

All CEUs credits are registered through the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). NCIDQ serves as a clearinghouse for all professional interior design organizations that offer CEU courses.
