1992 - The State of GA passed HB 43, recognizing the professional practice of interior design

2010 - The State of GA passed legislation that provided RIDs the use of a professional seal

Requirements: Degree from an accredited institution - NCIDQ Certification

The well-being and safety of people inside of buildings and public spaces rely on the design of the interiors. Regulation and certification in the design industry not only offer equitable opportunities but keeps public safety and welfare at the forefront.

This video brought to you by the International Interior Design Association in partnership with American Society of Interior Designers - ASID and Council for Interior Design Qualification - CIDQ breaks down all the certifications, knowledge, and skills required to be a qualified interior designer.
