IIDA Georgia Chapter proudly presents the Best of the Best Design Awards Gala!
The Best of the Best Design Awards are the highest honor that IIDA Georgia can bestow upon a design team. The awards recognize design excellence and creativity that continuously pushes boundaries and exceeds expectations. The competition is open to any current IIDA Member within the Georgia Chapter, for projects completed after January 1, 2017.
January is our Institutional Forum month! Check out this amazing project that won Interior Design Magazine’s 2018 Best of the Year Winner for Institutional projects.
The Aaniin Community Center & Library by Perkins+Will was influenced by the community to reflect the idea of shelter: the exterior wood overhangs invite the community in, while exposed wood beam ceilings bring warmth to the expansive interior spaces.
We are pleased to introduce you to Elizabeth Rosenzweig, IIDA.
Elizabeth is an interior designer at Lord Aeck Sargent focusing on higher education and corporate interiors. She enjoys creating environments for a variety of learning styles as well as the creativity that comes with designing student-focused spaces. She has been with Lord Aeck Sargent for two years since moving from Chicago, IL with her husband. She attended the New England School of Art and Design in Boston where she earned her Master’s in Interior Design. In addition to her interior design studies, Elizabeth has a background in psychology, which influences how she thinks about interior spaces. Aside from thinking about form, materials, light and color, it is important to think about how the space is really used. This is particularly important in the design of schools where the environment should foster a sense of security while reducing stress. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys travel, spending time with her family and friends and experimenting in the kitchen.
